Applicator / Driver

 
Eastern Farmers Coophas an opportunity in our Ag Business Division located in Crooks SD. We are looking for an Applicator – Operations Driver. The incumbent will promote the proper use of crop protection products.
 
Responsibilities:

• Primary duties from April through Fall will be Applicator – Operations Driver Application – with Airflows, Sprayers.
• Spreading – Lime, Fertilizer
• Truck Driving
• Warehouse work to include: Mechanics, Maintenance
• Customer Service & Sales
• Work with patrons in a courteous and professional manner.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.  (Example helping out at other locations.)
• Duties may involve work in other departments; Grain or Feed.
• Other duties as assigned by management may include work at other CHS locations.

 
Competencies:
Incumbent must have the ability to adapt, think and make decisions quickly.
Incumbent must have a pleasant attitude, helpful, and customer focused.
 
Training provided:

• Crop protection product mixing
• Operation of application equipment
• Safety programs

 
Basic Qualifications:

• Must have CDL. 
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs.
• Applicators license or ability to obtain. 

 
Preferred Qualifications:

• Must have Application experience
• Preferred farming background
• Chemical application education preferred
