Job Description
Position Title: Maintenance Mechanic Trainee
Wage: $20/hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: 6am-2:30pm

Maintenance Mechanic Trainee Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Perform under the direction of an experienced Maintenance Mechanic
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and service for each piece of equipment and help perform emergency maintenance repairs on various types of machinery
- Identify faulty equipment through observation and testing with direction from experienced
Maintenance Mechanic
- Perform minor repairs, progressing to more complicated repairs, during time on the job
- Accountable for properly maintaining records and logs for items
Maintenance Mechanic Trainee Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education level, as a minimum; advanced technical or college training preferred; willing to further education through classes pertaining to the business
- Ability to operate hand, power, and specialized tools
- Ability to operate forklifts and cranes
- Lift and carry up to 50lbs
- Team player; willing to work with and take direction from experienced Maintenance Mechanic and Supervision
- Perform other duties as and when assigned
- Good problem-solving and communication skills
- Current valid driver's license
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Willingness to work overtime when needed
