Job Overview

We are currently looking for a Product Analyst to join our team in Holland, MI.

As a Product Analyst, you will:

Support the Product Line Management (PLM) management team. Conduct competitive research, data management, reporting, and assist on product development projects for the product team. Provide analytical information regarding sales, profitability, product development, manufacturing, and financial performance. Regular interaction with dealers and members across the organization.

Some of the responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • Assists with development and coordination of marketing plans to expand product margins and position Haworth as leader in industry.
  • Under supervision of Product Manager/Associate Product Manager, assists with development and implementation of product strategies, leading to achievement of corporate objectives.
  • Assists with development of new forecasts to ensure achievement of goals.
  • Performs competitive analyses, in terms of product offering, features, benefits, and price, with supervision, to support marketing objectives.
  • Analyzes sales data, identifying trends in overall growth, as well as product specifics, to monitor impact of new products and services on overall sales and deliver accurate comparison to one specific existing product.
  • Provides assistance with development and coordination of market research to obtain information on new and existing products to make product line decisions, under supervision of Product Manager.
  • Participates in margin/cost analysis, including new pricing calculation, to evaluate and summarize technical data.
  • Spends some time on production floor, especially during new product launches. May need to function in awkward areas of manufacturing environment. Lifts/moves products, materials, and parts weighing up to 50 pounds, when needed, to send product samples to field, take things to different locations in and around Haworth, and set up mock-ups inside and outside of Haworth; use of power and hand tools may be required.
Do you have these required qualifications?
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Design, Marketing or Finance.
  • 1 year Product Line Management, Finance, Marketing, Sales or Data Analytics experience.
  • Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Do you have these preferred qualifications?
  • Prior experience in contract furniture industry, walls, flooring or commercial A&D.
  • Experience working with a durable goods manufacturer.
  • Data mining experience.
  • Advanced user of Excel.
Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following:
  • Ability to manage multiple project priorities.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work equally well as member of project team or independently.
  • Maintains confidentiality when working with proprietary information.
