Job Description

Under general supervision, this position will be responsible for support of test lab operations, product qualification testing, and miscellaneous experimental investigations. It is a hands-on position that allows exposure to a variety of products and test techniques.

Provide support to R&D Test Lab engineering team as instructed
Perform testing of development and production products, including but not limited to: vibration, flow, spray characterization, structural/thermal, pressure cycling
Perform design (solid modeling), machining/fabrication, and assembly of test fixtures
Configure test setups (hardware, instrumentation, and software)
Calibrate instruments and gauges
Assist with equipment repair, maintenance, and upgrades (perhaps with installation of new equipment)
Analyze and post-process test data
Write technical reports

Qualifications

Working towards Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel and Powerpoint; good written and verbal communication skills
Preferred but not required: experience with solid modelling software, data acquisition software, machining.
