IndustrialMechanic Located in Rochelle, IL
As a leader in the food packaging industry, and Americas largest metal food packaging producer, we are a crucial part of America's food supply chain. Silgan Containers is continuing production and helping to keep our food supply chain flowing.
What you'll do:
- Strong mechanical knowledge to work with close tolerances up to .00010
- Troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and modify all mechanical systems at our state-of-the-art, multi-technology can plant
- Work with management to improve work area, safety, quality, cost, and productivity

- You enjoy diagnosing mechanical and quality problems, determines the necessary repairs, and restores malfunctioning equipment back to service with minimum delay
- You enjoy working 12 hours per day/night on a 4-on/4-off schedule, with additional overtime as needed
